The Tamarack is a well-established landmark
property that has recently changed ownership and has undergone
extensive renovations to the facility. In addition to our banquet facility, we produce
extensive holiday buffets and special events that are open to
the public. These include our annual Labor Day Pig Roast,
Mothers Day, Thanksgiving & New Years Day buffets and BBQ and
live music on the lawn in the summer.
We are looking for individuals with a
professional attitude to join our team. Prior experience and
proven ability is a plus but is not absolutely necessary. We
will welcome highly skilled people who are willing and able to
use their talents to enhance our operation and will happily
train entry-level young persons with no experience and promote
them fairly as they progress. We are flexible regarding
scheduling and will accommodate full or part time hours where
mutually acceptable.
Money is negotiable and commensurate with
experience, attitude and ability.
We are presently looking for a lead cook.
This is a year round position that requires a minimum of 30
hours per week.
All weekends and holidays included.
The successful candidate will have previously proven their
ability to

Prep and produce high quality banquet
food for buffet and served functions

Direct and supervise part time help

Produce and maintain par levels of
basic kitchen Mise en Place

Receive, rotate and stock all incoming
food product

Maintain established procedures and
routines relating to kitchen sanitation and orderliness

Some baking ability would be nice but
is not absolutely necessary
