Little Boots delivers a live set of original material at an intimate fireside performance in the picturesque mountains of Upstate New York.

This past October, Mixmag teamed up with AKG to bring six artists to Allaire Studios – a musical getaway located in Woodstock, New York – for a unique electronic music retreat. Isolated from the noise of the outside world and provided with a plethora of instruments, recording equipment and refined audio gear, this amiable retreat delivered an exercise in nurturing new musical epiphanies through the spirit of collaboration.

Cozying up next to an outdoor fire pit and surrounded by the changing leaves of autumn, Little Boots delivered a graceful, vocally driven live-set outside of Allaire Studios during Mixmag and AKG’s Woodstock retreat.

“Love in Bloom” is composed of a group of soft and nurturing shades contrasted with a bold fuchsia red, an earthy green and a shimmering silver metallic. Structural floral installations are making a big impact in 2019 wedding decor, with an opportunity for couples to incorporate greenery and bright pops of color alongside abstract sculptures in wood or metallic tones.

Additionally, styled grazing tables can incorporate red pops of dried cherries and other fruits to blend seamlessly within the palette. “Love in Bloom” leans to the warm side of the spectrum with its visual portrayal of comfort and enjoyment, affection and contentment. Blending nostalgia with new, “Love in Bloom” takes an innovative approach to romantic love … Pantone

Firstly, What Exactly is GLAMPING?
“Glamping is where stunning nature meets modern luxury. It’s a way to experience the untamed and completely unique parts of the world—without having to sacrifice creature comforts.

The way we travel has changed. We no longer want a generic, one-size-fits-all vacation. We want to explore on our terms and immerse ourselves in local culture, and we no longer just want to simply witness nature—we want to live in it. A fusion of glamour and camping, glamping is a way to authentically experience the most awe-inspiring locales around the world.” – Glamping.com

“It’s much more than a nice tent.
The glamping movement is growing, and it’s showing no signs of slowing down. Across the globe, you’ll find incredible destinations, each offering their own unique advantages. You can wake up in a yurt on a mountaintop. Reside in the forest canopy in a treehouse. Take in the panoramic views in an eco-lodge. And that’s just to name a few. ” – Glamping.com

So what is INDIE GLAMPING ™ ?
Our marketing guru Amylu Meneses actually came up with the definition! Influenced by her love for Indie music and culture and independently owned businesses, INDIE GLAMPING ™ was born!

“Indie Music meaning: Any music that is produced and released by independent bands or independent record labels, and consumed by adolescent and adults under 35 yro. Examples: Death Cab for Cutie, Modest Mouse, Decemberists, The Arcade Fire”Urban Dictionary

The Indie Glamping ™ experience Tamarack offers comes in a few different options! Including 28 acres to explore, access to Pachaug State Forest and Beach Pond, Kayaking, Lawn Games and of course awesome food accommodations crafted by On The Spot Catering!

There’s also a ton of fun, local activities nearby like vineyard and brewery tours, museums, a water park, fishing, skiing, swimming, etc.
